settling in

After a while lil bigon got settled and it was very good because we also got to sleep along with him. We thought that it was an exaggeration that people said new parents got no sleep AT ALL!!

First night at home

So we had a very interesting first night at home with Quenton. I think this picture says it all.

Grandpa and Grandma Everitt also came by on our first day home. I forgot to get some pictures of that, I did get a video, but I don't know how to put that on here yet. They were very tired from a long trip to Wyoming to see Uncle Dave get married. Im glad they were able to come and see lil bigon and Im sure their pictures will be up here very soon.

First day home

My dogs were very excited to see out new addition to the house. They are still trying to figure out what he is. Janiah, Eddie, Julie, David, Emma and Shaq came to visit the day we got home, I mean Jadden. Jadden is almost as tall as me and wears size 12 shoe. I hope that Lil bigon can grow up to be as good of a young man as Jadden is.

Hat size ???

I think Lil bigon is gonna have the same problem finding a hat as I do. A nurse had to search for a while to find these hats that were bigger than their usual ones they give out and they still were too small.

Friends at the hospital

Tiffany, her baby Lilly and Nicole all came to visit at the hospital also. These are truly some long time friends for Meg and it was good to see them catch up. Tiff's baby Lilly, who is about 7 weeks I think, is only a pound or two heavier than lil bigon. She was cute and she can really burp up with the best of them.

Fam at the hospital

Grandpa and uncle Joe and his gang were able to come and visit at the hospital which was very cool. I think uncle joe and myself are having a competition on kids head size. I think grandpa was amazed that lil bigon wasn't just a big butterball.

Janiah and Julie

During the whole labor thing, I forgot to get some pictures of Julie and Janiah. They were there almost from start to finish for the whole thing. Meg and I really appreciate having that support there. There is nothing like having a big sis to be there for ya in times like that.

Here is one of the first pics meg got with lil bigon. I was so proud of them both I was bursting with joy. Automatically lil bigon was a full fledged mamas boy. (which I don't mind at all :) )

talk of the hospital

Lil bigon only minutes old here. He was already the talk of the hospital because of his size. He had his eyes open already and I swear he was focusing on me. Man that head makes me proud. :)

meg insisted that I take a picture of her freshly manicured toes. She got all kinds of compliments on her toes which was pretty cute.

If your wondering how lil ole Meghan held an 11 pound baby. Here she is almost at her biggest. Amazing how he fit in there

hospital stay july 24 2009

So I just wanted to give a shout out to megs favorite person in the whole hospital. The Dr who gave her the epidural. This guy was awesome except he kept missing the target. It was kinda hard for her to bend over wit lil bigon still in her stomach.

Just starting this blogging thing. hope I can keep this updated so people can see lil Bigon. Meghan is the best thing ever and I am so proud of her. Lil Bigon is pretty mellow and calm as far as I can tell, given that when he cries he goes straight to mama.
